Our trip to Cincinnati

We had a great time visiting Ken's family in Cincinnati. There was never a dull moment with two cute little girls, especially our tornado Tressa. The drive there was great. The girls behaved, Katelyn did not cry at all or get fussy. They just sat in the back and watch movies the whole trip. Thank goodness for portable DVD players.

Tuesday, we took them to the Cincinnati zoo. Tressa was on animal overload. She had so much fun running from animal to animal, getting excited over everything she saw. She loved to ride the train around the park with Mimi. I took pictures of the zoo; however, I can not find my camera cord to connect to the computer. So when I find it I will definitely post you some pictures.

For the rest of the trip, it consisted of Tressa taking a lot of walks with Papa, Carl or myself. She loved being outside. We went shopping like girls do. Mimi took Tressa to Build a Bear. She picked out a pink monkey dressed as a doctor and named him 'Doc'. She did not quite know what to do with filling the monkey with stuffing, giving it a bath, dressing it and giving it a name, but she did enjoy it.

We had a great time and we are thankful for Mimi and Papa for their hospitality and for Carl and Tiona coming over to visit us with their busy school schedule.

As for the "Where are We?" for the week, the answer is The Old North Church in Boston, MA. We were able to see it while we were walking the Freedom Trail through Boston. Congrats to those who answered correctly.
