Time flies when having fun!!!

Tressa and I have had some fun mommy daughter time this past week. Last Wednesday, we went with some friends to a water park just up the road. Tressa had a great time swimming in the pool and playing in the little kiddie pool playground. When Ken came home that night, Tressa told him she swam in a BIG pool. My little Tressa is definitely a Richards. She loves to spend most her time in the water.

Friday night, Tressa was invited to a birthday party. I believe she was the youngest invite to a 10-year-old birthday party. It was my piano students party and they invited us for a BBQ and birthday cake. Tressa had a great time hanging with the older girls. She played on the slide and with water and sponges. Tressa was also able to hit the pinata a couple of times. She loved it so much that she didn't want to give Ken the bat, she just kept on swinging. Happy Birthday, Cecilia!!

Tuesday, we went to the children's museum to see the Grossology exhibit. It was as the name says pretty gross. However, being a Clayton, I thoroughly enjoyed learning little known facts about bodily functions. The following stations included learning about the digestive system (how food turns into poop), body parts (had a human-sized operation game), farting (had little devices that make farting noises), burping, sneezing, urine (an arcade game called Urine in the game), skin and hair, vomiting and finally, body odors. The body odors had to be the most disgusting station especially when your pregnant and your sense of smell tends to work really well. They had 4 different smells and you had to guess which one was the armpit, the anus, the mouth or the foot. Disgusting, I know, but fun. At the very end, you could test your knowledge by playing a trivia game with 4 other kids. We learned some very interesting facts. Tressa had the best time with the human size operation game.

Yesterday morning for playgroup, we went to Fon du Lac Farm Park. Fon du Lac Farm Park is a little place you can go and see baby animals. At the entrance you can buy a feeding cone for 50 cents. Tressa and I walked around the farm and saw ducks with their ducklings, lambs, bunnies, ponies, calves, chickens, turkeys, and goats. Tressa loved feeding the animals, rather than putting some food in her hands and letting the animals eat off of it, she would rather throw it at them. The farm park also had some playgrounds around that little kids could play on. Tressa, of course, loved the slide. We had a great time enjoying the outdoors. It beats sitting in the house all day long with nothing to do. Here are some pictures of us at the farm park. Enjoy!!!

Feeding the little ducklings. Aren't they cute?

The little lambs, she is actually holding out her hand. However, notice her hand is no where near the lamb's mouth.

The little flower is blossoming to fast.

Her and her tractor.
This picture was just so cute, I had to throw it in for all to see.
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer so far.

Hi Michelle,

Tressa is really growing up fast! I can't believe she is almost two years old. Time does go by quickly! I love the picture of her on the wall, looking at the duck.
Keep the pictures coming, I would love a current picture of your family!!!!!

Love always,

Mom
